small piece of
evidence
of the
abundance
of birds
that we
have in
northeast
South
Dakota.
Located
in the
heart of
the
waterfowl
flyway
called
the
Prairie
Pothole
Region,
Waterfowl
Mafia/Pheasant
Haven is
a
full-scale
waterfowl
operation
that
caters
to the
field or
water
hunter.
The
season
opener
to our
early
Canadian
goose
season
is
September
4th and
out-of-state
hunters
are
guaranteed
a
hunting
license
with the
ability
to shoot
5 Canada
geese/hunter/day.
Our
duck/goose
regular
season
opens September
25th and
allows
you to
shoot 3
Canadian
geese/hunter/day,
and6
ducks/hunter/day.
This
season
is a
lottery
drawing
so
license
applications
must be
submitted
to the
South
Dakota
Game and
Fish by
the end
of June.
